Dee's owners, Fred and Brooke, sent Dee out to South Dakota with Tommy in the summer of 2003. Dee's style of race was not yet refined and her owners wanted a better pattern in her hunting and running style.

The time in South Dakota gave Dee an opportunity to run freely on the open grasslands with gentle encouragement from Tommy and develop the needed independence to feel comfortable working at a distance from her handler.

A tragic illness took Dee from us at a young age.
